Township Run Only 35 minutes away are Kiandra and Selwyn Snowfields where the ski areas offer family fun in the winter at reasonable cost.

Mt Selwyn's gentler slopes are ideal for beginners. The resort offers 12 lifts for downhill skiers and snowboarders and a toboggan slope. Cross-country ski trails abound nearby. Ski instruction is available for groups or individuals.

Kiandra is a popular spot for snow play, tobogganing and cross-country skiing.

In the other direction it is only 90 minutes drive to the heart of the famous resorts of Perisher Blue and Thredbo.

Lakeside Village offers a ski clothing and chain hire service. Skis, boots and snowboards can be hired in nearby Adaminaby or at Selwyn Snowfields.
